Boy killed in accident

PUNE: A 13-year-old boy died on the spot after he was knocked downed by a speeding mini bus at Shastrinagar in Yerawada. The police have identified the deceased as Ramlal Meghwal of Jay Jawannagar in Yerawada.
The police have arrested the bus driver, Sanjay Hole of Nigdi, for negligent driving. Sub-inspector S M Gholap is investigating the case. tnn
Cash stolen from car
Dhananjay Chandrakant Konde of Dhanori road has lodged a complaint with the Yerawada police station stating that two unidentified persons diverted his attention and stole Rs 1.30 lakh in cash from his car.The incident took place near the golf club at Yerawada on Monday afternoon. Sub-inspector A S Mane of Yerawada police station is investigating the case.
